Parish Christmas Party tonight at 7!

The Annual christmas family craft and drama event will be tonight, Friday, December 15 at 7 p.m.  Refreshments will be served afterwards.  A family photo booth will be available.  Every child will make his own Nativity set to keep year after year. Don’t miss the fun!

Actors needed for the Christmas program this Friday!

Karla Herman is looking for three people to play Mary, Joseph and the Angel for the Christmas program this Friday.  The Keepsake Christmas cast members (Mary, Joseph and the Angel) interact with kids and families as they bring the Christmas story to life.  I am playing the part of the Keepsake conductor.

Below is the script for you to decide if this is something you can do.  Please contact me at 369-7220 ASAP if you can perform Mary, Joseph or the Angel on Friday.

Update to needs for Dr. Kris

The person who is hand delivering items to Dr. Kris offered to buy the items himself instead of us shipping our donations to him.  So, please consider giving a monetary donation in the amount you would spend on Crystal light or mac n cheese, etc.  and the items will be purchased.

Care Package collection this Sunday!

Christmas Packages for Overseas
This year we will be sending Christmas packages to Dr. Kris
Prenger in Bangladesh and Elyse Burns in Taiwan. Mayan Shah
has once again graciously volunteered to coordinate and mail the
packages. They must be in the mail very early, so we are making
the deadline next Sunday, November 5. Please bring in anything
you would care to give to either person and place it on the back table.

There is a short term missionary heading to Bangladesh next week, so we need to ship items for Dr. Kris ASAP.

Here is a list of things Dr. Kris and Elyse asked for – could everyone bring something?

Items suggested are:
Dr. Kris: Crystal lite type drink packets, dry muffin mix (that makes
6-12 muffins), cheese for macaroni and cheese, pepperoni (sticks),
walnuts, chocolate chips, lemon juice, coffee creamer (flavored,
sugar- or fat-free)

The books listed in the bulletin have already been bought/covered.  Here are some clothing items requested.
Some long tunic cute thing (short or 3/4 sleeves) I could wear over leggings.  These are both $12-18: (gray is best for me, probably 1X)

(coral, navy, burgundy, gray are my colors, probably 1X)

Anything Reese’s; candles (nostalgic scents — Christmas, Winter,
Spring, etc.) Bath and Body Works scents Japanese Cherry Blossom
and Sensual Amber; Christmas cards.

Little things, perhaps, but they show a lot of love from our parish!
