I’m writing to you because you may know of someone who fits this need’.
A young Sudanese man who attends Sinclair majoring in pharmacy tech is struggling in some of his classes because of language difficulties. He struggles when trying to solve math reading problems and has difficulty understanding and remembering all definitions of the various medical and pharmaceutical terminology. He would love to have someone give him some assistance once a week either on a Saturday or Sunday.
If you know of someone in the pharmaceutical field or perhaps even a nurse, doctor or physican’s assistant who might be willing to help this young man succeed in his class and in fulfilling his dream, please contact me through email or text message.

Last Week of Spouse Goes Free!
For anyone registering from our parish, use the group name “christourhopeanglicanchurch”
Harry, Just wanted to remind you that the Weekend to Remember “Spouse Goes FREE” (SGF) promotion runs through September 19th. We’ve had a few area churches host some awesome marriage events over the last several weeks, and through these events we’ve seen our WTR registrations rise. We just want to reach out and encourage you to DON’T STOP! There is still room, but we definitely feel like things will fill up fast, especially with the last week of SGF. And, don’t forget, pastors and their spouse attend FREE, and military couples can attend for only $100 per couple. If you know any military couples who you think should attend, tell them about it. We’ve been told the Dayton event has one of the best attended WTR events in the country! We have a great group of WTR staff and volunteers who are very excited to welcome our military couples to our November event. If there is anything you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you need brochures, posters or any other information and promotional materials, please contact us. We’re here to help you in any way we can. Don’t forget to log into your GCMobile account for promotional materials. If you need assistance with your GCMobile Group Coordinator account login or setup, please contact me. http://gcmobile.familylife.com Jay and Tena Hawkins Weekend to Remember Directors – Dayton 937-689-1030 firstname.lastname@example.org
Calling all parents! We have just started a class on Saturday night to teach our younger children. We are excited to come alongside you as parents to help teach your little ones the most basic tenets of our faith to fulfill our baptismal vows. We are using the catechism from Truro Anglican Church (http://truroanglican.com/media/publications/tracts/an-anglican-catechism/) to teach on the sacraments, the Lord’s prayer, the ten commandments and the apostle’s creed. The teaching will take place at the Saturday night service during the sermon and prayers of the people and conclude in time for communion. The class will be taught by Stephanie Taylor and Sherrie Miller and is ideal for children ages 4 through 10, although older kids (if they wish) and mature 3 year olds are welcome. We hope you’ll join us for some or all of these classes! There will also, of course, still be Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:30.
From Amanda Roberts:
The younger kids’ Sunday school class is learning about the Ten Commandments from now until Advent. We are teaching them a song with motions to help them easily remember them. Here is a link to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMgLH316HJ8 (It is also available on iTunes!)
Thank you for all your long distance prayer support and encouragement. We are finished with the viewing and funeral service as of yesterday. We also have the house mom rented pretty much cleaned out and items divided among siblings and the grandkids. Everything went very smoothly for such a stressful time. Planning, dividing up belongings, and all decisions and activities were done without much of any disagreement at all and those were resolved quickly and easily. THANK YOU!!! Your prayers were helpful in the situation.

Attached is the bulletin for this coming Sunday, the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost. You may notice it has changed in format — and contains only the announcements and the music. We are now using a “Service Bulletin” left in the pew racks each week, and supplementing with a weekly announcements and music bulletin. 017-pentecost-09-11-2016
Anita’s mother, Georgia Wingfield, passed into eternity last night at 11:30 p.m. May she rest in peace and rise again in glory.
Grant, O Lord, to Anita and her family the spirit of faith and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience. We ask you to give them thankful remembrance of your great goodness in past years, and give them also a sure expectation of a joyful reunion with those they love in the world to come. In their grief, comfort them with the assurance that we do not grieve as those who have no hope. All of this we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen

Anita’s mother has been moved to ICU but they are locating a hospice care facility for her. Currently, there isn’t an exact prognosis. Anita says she is still somewhat alert and eating a small bit. Please pray for Georgia Wingfield and also for Anita.
Lord God Almighty, we are grateful that in this time of unknowing for the future, we can trust in Your lovingkindness and mercy in the life of our sister, Georgia. We trust Your good hand in all the decisions and details which must be handled. We pray also for our sister Anita, and thank You that You continue to strengthen and encourage her and give her peace through this time, for the sake of Your son, our savior, Jesus Christ.
