Prayer Request – Anita Evanhoe’s Mother

From Anita — Please pray for my mother Georgia Wingfield  who is in the hospital again.  She has a bladder infection that got into her blood stream.  She has fluid on her lungs but no pneumonia.  They have to be careful and slow with IV treatment due to her congestive heart failure.  Her left arm is very swollen due to the lymphedema.  She isn’t eating or drinking very well at all.  Coughing when she eats or drinks so possibility of aspiration.  Not sure when she will be able to leave and then will have to go to rehab facility for a while.  She is cognizant enough to be upset about that.

Anita will be staying Kansas for now to attend to her mother.

O Lord, who feels the pain of the world, and looks with tender mercy upon all sick and suffering persons, enfolding them in your love; Grant that, in the midst of suffering, your child Georgia  may be comforted by your presence; to her doctors and nurses grant tender hearts and healing hands; and give her health again in body and soul, for the sake of your son, our savior, Jesus Christ.  Amen

Prayer Request

From Jon and Sherrie Miller:

Please pray for the Laurent Muvunyi family whom many of you know. Their little daughter is in hospital with heart trouble. Second time in last few weeks.  Surgery may be in the offing.  Please stop and pray now.  Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you gather the lambs in your arms and carry them in your bosom: We commend to your loving care this child. Relieve her pain, guard her from all danger, restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength, and raise her up to a life of service to you. Hear us, we pray, for your dear Name’s sake. Amen.
