Update on Fr. Randy Uselton

From Fr. Franklin Sanders:

At 12:30 noon today I saw Fr. Randy, sitting up and eating with gusto, MUCH improved.  He did physical therapy this morning, and his physical therapist said to him, “Boy!  You came for business.”  Got 90% flexion in his knees.  He is much more alert, less swollen, the low sodium level apparently was solved last night by normal saline IVs.  (Those levels in my email, by the way, were missing the first digit, and should have been 123, etc., not 23.  Normal range is 135.)

Thank you for your prayers.  Please join me in praising and thanking our gracious heavenly Father, and please keep on praying for Fr. Randy and Sheila.  Specifically, please pray that God would graciously and speedily heal Randy both in body and soul, working in his body to renew what has been lost and injured, and in his soul to renew what has been wounded through suffering.  Pray that God would now make up for him these years of pain that the locusts have eaten.  Please pray also that God would cover him and Sheila with the peace of Christ who makes all things and all his sons and daughters new, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Prayer Request

From Fr. Franklin Sanders, Christ our Hope Anglican Church, Westport, TN — This request is for Fr. Randy Uselton, a priest in our diocese.  He is in the hospital right now with extremely critical and urgent health issues.  Please pray for him.

O Father in heaven, save your servant Randy.  We know that you have never failed those who call upon you, and we now with one voice call upon you to save our beloved brother Randy.  Rise up, O Lord, and show yourself mighty on Randy’s behalf, and save your servant whom you have redeemed with your own precious blood!  In Jesus blessed name, Amen.
