Prayer Request

While we were in Tennessee visiting our son, we received the news that my daughter Janet’s stage 4 cancer has spread to her liver. She is in surgery right now to remove two clumps of cancer; the procedure will take about 3 hours. Please forward this to our family parishes with a request that prayers be continued to be offered up for her and her family. Her daughter Jessica is having a very difficult time with her mother’s health situation. Prognosis is grim, but I’m clinging to my faith and hoping for a miracle if that’s God’s plan. On the way home, I couldn’t stop the tears and wondered where my faith went! We’re supposed to trust, and I’ve been burdened with fear, so I can also use some prayer. We’ll be going to the hosptial as soon as we unpack. It appears that her radiation therapy did work on the lung cancer. Cancer cells are still present in her thalmus gland.

Thank you and ALL my Christian brothers and sisters for all your prayers. Remind me, GOD is in control! Dorothea F.

Please email me if you have not told me that you would like to come and I can add to my reservation.

So contact Karla Herman and let me know if you will be coming to Mr. Lee’s this Friday night. This is an adult dinner. The teens have an event. Talk to Karla if you need babysitting.

Nursery schedule

Hello – Theresa asked me to ask who would all like to be on the nursery schedule. Some of the younger girls would like to help in the nursery, but they need to be overseen by an adult. Are there any adults who would like to be on the nursery schedule?
